Rainy holidays

I feel like it always rains during the summer holidays, luckily I am good at keeping children amused but the rain makes my job 10 times harder. Today we managed to grab some time outside before the rain set in. We took the bikes, scooters and chalks in the alley behind my house. The children helped me draw heart shaped stepping stones on the path and we practiced jumping from heart to heart pretending the floor around the hearts was laver then much hilarity was had when an old child said my “butt got burnt off” because I was sat in the laver! Well the rain is here and some what calmer children are playing nicely (well all but Jojo who would probably still be bouncing off the walls after a 2 hour hike!) I have some paperwork to do if Jojo lets me. Only 2 weeks and 2 days to go! I can do this….
