This week.

We have had a lovely week, no planing just doing the things the children wanted to do. The role of a childminder is often just to provide opportunities to enhance children’s play for example one day this week the children were talking about the stormy weather as the heavens had opened on us on the school run, we had been blown about, soaked to the skin and battered by hail (never have I been so glad to live 3 minutes from school) so when we got home I provided paint in stormy colours and paper, the then squirted the paint onto paper in bags to make bad weather pictures.

We have played playdoh a lot this week as it’s the children’s favourite and on Thursday we made pizza from scratch and cinnamon buns which meant we had an activity and lunch sorted.

Next week our theme will be dinosaurs with activities like dinosaurs world, dinosaurs foot prints potatoe printing, dinosaurs play dough and, dinosaurs cookies.
