Slow days!

We had a very special morning today. We spent the time reading books and chilling out together but those are my favourite times. No rushing, plenty of time to talk and ask questions. We looked at a book all about an Inuit village and an old lady who found a polar bear cub which lead to us to find our polar bear toys and watch i short child friends documentary about polar bears and the ice caps melting. Only in these slowed down moments do the children have a chance to follow there interests and really engage in self lead learning.
