Bonfire weekend

We had a lovely weekend watching everyone else’s fireworks. This year we didn’t have any of our own because Jojo is too little. Instead we lit the wood burning stove and watched the ‘Hobbit’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’ (while Jojo was in bed). I am sure next year he will love them. He is a fearless little baby I can’t imagine the loud bangs will scare him at all.

Fin was at his Daddies most of the weekend but popped home yesterday and bought me half an orange upside down cake he had made it was delicious (really delicious not ‘mum faking-it delicious’) 

So back to work tomorrow and we will be looking at winter birds and how we can look after them as the weather gets colder. We hope to make bird seed cakes and we have a bird table in the front garden that has been a little bit neglected lately we will have to sort that out!
